Vanilla Butter Cookies



Vanilla Butter Cookies
Ingredients

Cookies
- ½ stick of butter (125g)
- 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup granulated white sugar (60g)
- ¼ cup brown sugar (60g)
- 2 ¾ All-Purpose flour (325g)
- ¼ tsp salt

Icing
 - 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract



Directions
1 – Preheat the oven at 180°C.
2 – Whisk together egg, vanilla sugar, white and brown sugar, and salt. Add melted butter and continue beating until light and fluffy.
3 – Gradually add the flour to the mixture and beat it with a spatula until well combined.
4 – Let the cookie dough chill in the fridge for 30min.
5 – Roll dough out on a floured cutting board and shape with cookie cutters.
6 – Place on greased cookie sheet and bake on the oven for 10 – 15 min until golden brown edges.
