Matcha Low-Fat Tiramisu
(1 serving)
Ingredients
- 6 ladyfingers
- ¼ cup soy yogurt (or fromage
blanc) *
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- ⅛ tsp cream of tartar (optional)
- 1 tsp matcha powder
Directions
1 – Heat water until
it is hot but not boiling (about 70°C)
2 – Add a few drops of hot water to matcha
powder in a cup and mix into a paste with spoon. Continue adding hot water to
paste mixture and stir.
3 – Using a
hand mixer, whisk egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks are formed.
Then mix the yogurt with the sugar and
carefully combine it with the egg white.
4 – Dip 3
of the ladyfingers into the matcha for a few seconds until wet and set them in
the bottom of a baking dish (I used a rounded one so I had to cut the
ladyfingers).
5 – Cover
them with half of the egg whites- yogurt mixture and add the 3 remaining
ladifingers after beeing dipped into the matcha.
6 – Sprinkle
some matcha poder on top.
* You can
also use ⅓ cup of mascarpone cheese instead. If you do so, you should rerigerate the
tiramisu for 2 – 3h on the fridge before serving.
