Vanilla Chocolate Bundt Cake



Vanilla Chocolate Bundt Cake
 (7 - 8 serves)


Ingredients

Cake
- 2 cups all – purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup confectioner’s sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 eggs (separated)
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Glaze
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 2 tbsp milk

Directions

Cake
1 – Preheat the oven to 170°C.
2 – Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and set aside.
3 – In a bowl, whisk the egg whites for 2 or three minutes and gradually add the confectioner’s sugar. Continue whisking until soft peaks are formed.
4 – In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until a pale and fluffy mixture, then add milk, vegetable oil and butter and continue beating until combined.
5 – Mix well the flour mixture with the egg yolks batter.
6 – Carefully fold in the egg whites into the cake batter (flour + egg yolks mixture)
7 – Pour the cake batter into a greased cake pan and bake it for 30 to 35 min.
8 – Let cool the cake completely before pouring the glaze on top it.

Glaze
1 – Whisk the confectioner’s sugar with the milk until smooth.
