Chocolate Chip Cookies




Chocolate Chip Cookies
(20 cookies)

Ingredients


3 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
225g butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar (caster sugar)
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp salt
2 eggs

Directions

1 – Preheat the oven at 180°C
2 – Using a hand mixer, blend together softened butter and sugar until it turns into a soft mixture.
3 – Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
4 – In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5 – Using a spatula, mix dry ingredients with wet ones until they are combined, then add chocolate chips and stir until the are evenly distributed through the cookie dought.
6 - Using an ice cream scoop or a spoon, place the cookie batter on a lined baking sheet. Leave aproximately 4 cm between cookies as the will expand as they bake.
7 – Bake the cookies for 20 min until the edges look brown-golden.
